This will be short and I’ll update as more is discovered.
Cenedril, Reflector of Hatred Touch of Karma deals
300% increased damage.
Not much to say about this, its a nerf. Many other legendaries also lost damage, but Windwalker certainly didn’t have much damage to give away. Its a bummer, but not unwarranted to a legendary that was incredibly powerful, and just made much easier to use.
Prydaz, Xavaric’s Magnum Opus 1247 Haste has been added, Critical Strike was increased from 1114 to 1247 and Mastery was decreased from 2004 to 1247
Currently haste is our least useful stat, and Mastery is the most useful. However, the fact that there are now many more stats on this item makes up for it. Its probably an overall buff to the benefit from the stats.
Emperor’s Capacitor Chi spenders increase the damage of your next Crackling Jade Lightning by
125% and reduce its cost by 5%, stacking up to 20 times.
Pretty noticeable nerf, but again to a legendary that, as I previous wrote, was incredibly strong.
There was also some aura buffs added to increase the damage of
many abilities all abilities by 4% each. This is part of Blizzard’s new Aura method of buffing classes which they will then work into the attack power coefficients before the patch goes live.
Xavaric’s Magnum Opus Every 30 sec, gain an absorb shield for
30% of your maximum health for 30 sec.
Standard nerf, the change in how it works may have justified a small decrease in the bubble. Its still a significant improvement from live.
Cinidaria, the Symbiote Your attacks cause an additional 30% damage to enemies above
85% health and heal you for 100% of the damage done.
With the nerfs to the other legendaries, this one would have been a beacon of OP left standing, so it makes sense in the larger scheme.
“This will put these two legendaries way more “in line” with other legendaries, I guess. None of them will be that big outliers anymore; Cenedril, Reflector of Hatred used perfectly is likely to STILL be best in slot, Emperor’s Capacitor could still outperform Cenedril, Reflector of Hatred on patchwerk, just not by that much. With some Storm, Earth, and Fire love, we could really see Drinking Horn Cover be exciting, who would have expected.”
Overall I feel these changes are good. If toning down OP legendaries, which Cenedril, Reflector of Hatred and Emperor’s Capacitor definitely were, makes things easier to tune overall then these will be good changes. As long as this lost legendary damage is made up elsewhere, which is likely since Windwalker does need it.
